What Is Present Continuous Tense?
The present continuous tense is a verb tense that conveys an action or condition that is currently happening. Also known as the present progressive tense, we may also use this verb tense for actions that occur frequently and actions that might continue in the future.
We form the present continuous tense by using the auxiliary verb is, are, or am plus the present participle or -ing form of the verb. For example:
